LODDEN LAKES

Brief description of fishery:

Lodden lakes consists of two fresh water lakes, developed by the club in the 1970’s. The lakes have ample hard surface parking, disabled access and pegs. The lakes are accessed from a locked gate car park. The lock number is for members only and must not be shared with non members.

The lakes hold a wide variety of fish including Carp, Tench, Roach, Bream, Pike and Perch

Lodden lakes consists of a larger (Dave Hillier) lake and smaller (Carp) lake. ONLY the Dave Hillier lake has disabled access/pegs (peg numbers 32, 34, 35, 37 & 41). These pegs are all on the accessable roadside of the lake and are accessed by a concrete path leading to concrete platforms to fish from.

The Dave Hillier lake is predominantly a silvers water but does have some large resident Carp and Pike

The smaller Carp lake is specifically geared towards Carp anglers with a good head of fish to around 30 pounds.

For those wishing to night fish there is an additional membership charge (see Membership fees), but generally this is a sunrise to sunset fishery with a limit to 2 rods per peg at any time.

Dogs are not allowed on the complex at any time. The complex does have toilet facilities.

The lakes are open all year.

This is a barbless hooks only fishery. For those fishing for carp unhooking mats and a 42″ landing net are required
